Settlers planted dozens of Israeli flags around a Palestinian coffee shop and rest stop in al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, on the West Bank's main north-south road, which the owner found on the morning of 8 October 2026, according to Reuters. The owner told Reuters it was intimidation and that a settler he holds responsible keeps returning to check whether flags have been removed. According to the activists' video, the owners reported it to Israeli forces and were told not to touch the flags.
