According to the Burqa village council head, quoted by WAFA, settlers attacked the village on the evening of 31 August 2026: they beat a woman in her 50s with clubs and stones, causing a head injury, pepper-sprayed her 10-year-old son, raided another house and tried to set fire to a vehicle scrapyard and a sheep pen. WAFA says soldiers protected the attackers and detained several young men. In a video posted on 13 September, @the_andrey_x visits the victims' home, says the woman suffered a fractured skull, and films soldiers declaring the area a closed military zone to remove journalists.
