On Saturday 29 August 2026 Israeli settlers held their weekly march through the Old City of Hebron, escorted by the army. Andrey X, who filmed it, described the day as less violent than usual, but soldiers harassed Palestinian residents and journalists and forced Palestinian shops to close. Church and human-rights observers describe these weekly Saturday tours as routinely restricting Palestinian movement and causing shop closures, and sometimes escalating into attacks.
