Settlers stone Kaabneh Bedouin compound in Taybeh
Stone-throwingProperty damageBlocking accessNo arrestsAwaiting review
On 19 August 2026 a settler threw stones into the Kaabneh Bedouin family compound on the edge of Taybeh, east of Ramallah, and returned later the same day. Over the next two days, Andrey X recorded settlers coming to the compound four times, spending hours trying to damage the fence and throwing stones. Catholic media, UPI photographers and Al-Quds describe the same pattern: settlers come twice a day with their herds, break through the razor-wire fence and stone the family, while volunteers keep a protective presence. The army had declared Taybeh a closed military zone for non-residents on 9 August.
