Shortly after midnight on 19 July 2026, 30–40 masked settlers raided at-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta, setting fire to the al-Taqwa mosque, homes, a dairy factory and a car, and spraying 'revenge' graffiti. Residents drove them out after about 10 minutes and put out the fires. A family said a pregnant woman later miscarried, and Palestinian media said Israeli forces protected the settlers.
