About 30 settlers stormed Umm al-Kheir in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, and tried to take over the yard and sheep pen of Salem Hathaleen's home, moving the fence deeper into his land and setting up chairs and a table at the entrance. Palestinian residents and international activists were assaulted; WAFA, via Arab News, reported six residents injured, while +972 describes minor injuries. Settlers also cut farmland fencing and severed power lines to another home. Soldiers did not stop the settlers, closed the village entrance and declared the area around the house a closed military zone, enforced only against Palestinians. Soldiers arrested three activists, including Andrey X, who spent the night at a police station and were then barred from the village for five days. The village council said it filed a police complaint with video evidence about settler violations in the closed zone.
