Settler gunfire near al-Mughayyir school kills boy, 14, and man

Settlers came down from a nearby hill and opened fire near al-Mughayyir's boys' school, killing 14-year-old Aws Hamdi al-Naasan and 32-year-old Jihad Marzouq Abu Naim. Witnesses said Israeli forces covered the settlers and fired at residents trying to reach the children. The Israeli military said a reserve soldier travelling with civilians opened fire after stones were thrown.
