According to WAFA, as relayed by the Times of Israel, settlers attacked a home on the outskirts of Birzeit near an army checkpoint and pelted a woman and her son with stones. The woman was seriously hurt by a rock to the head and taken to hospital in Ramallah; her son and two other residents were also injured. Troops arrived, fired tear gas, let the settlers leave and arrested three Palestinian youths. OCHA reported it was one of four settler attacks in Birzeit that day: settlers grazing livestock beside the home pushed and stoned an elderly woman who asked them to leave and assaulted her son; four people were hospitalised. The family relocated out of fear. Forces and settlers later raided the home, damaged doors and windows and detained and assaulted male family members.
