After settlers set up an outpost about 50 metres from homes in December 2025, residents of Ras Ein al-Auja reported daily intrusions by settlers on foot, by tractor and on horseback with their flocks, night-time entries into homes to film women and children, tampering with electricity and missing sheep. On 8 January 2026, 26 families left, and more families were dismantling their shelters by 11 January.
