Masked settlers stab and beat residents of Khallet ad-Daba' at night

On the night of 4 September 2025 a masked, armed group of about 30 settlers, who according to residents came from the Havat Ma'on and Avigail outposts, raided the Masafer Yatta hamlet of Khallet ad-Daba', most of whose structures the army had demolished in May. They targeted at least five homes, broke down a door and pepper-sprayed a family through the windows. Residents said nine people were taken to hospital in Yatta, including a man stabbed in the leg with fractures to his hands, ribs and nose, an 86-year-old couple with head wounds and an 8-year-old boy with a brain haemorrhage; medics confirmed at least three wounded. The army said no suspects were identified when forces arrived.
