After months of livestock theft, demolitions and the burning of the community mosque on 31 May 2025, settlers set up an outpost with a tent and livestock barn in the middle of the al-Mu'arrajat East herding community on 1 July 2025. On 2 and 3 July settlers attacked families there; OCHA reports 20 households (about 120 people, 66 children) were forcibly displaced and the community of about 170 is now fully depopulated. Settlers ransacked the Al Ka'abneh school and sprayed anti-Palestinian graffiti. PCHR reports 18 families (123 people) dismantled their homes and moved about 5 km east to al-'Awsaq near al-'Auja.
