Four herding families forced out near Kobar after threats at gunpoint

Four families (29 people, including 19 children) were forced out of their herding community near Kobar, according to OCHA. Settlers from an outpost set up in March 2025 about 10 metres from their homes had broken into or stoned homes and threatened families at gunpoint, and stole property as the families left. A road gate installed in late May had cut access, forcing families to carry water on foot or by donkey.
