Armed settlers, some in military-like uniforms, stopped a Palestinian-owned vehicle at gunpoint near Kobar and stole the occupants' mobile phones. When the Palestinians refused to hand over the vehicle and five sheep, the settlers called Israeli forces, claiming a sheep had been stolen from them. According to OCHA, the forces confiscated the vehicle and the sheep and handed them to the settlers, and detained the two Palestinians at a nearby settlement, reportedly blindfolded and handcuffed, until the evening. A family of two left the area after the incident.
