Early on 28 March 2025 two settlers from the North of Halawah outpost attacked shepherd Maher Muhammad on his land. About an hour later some 20 masked settlers attacked the community with clubs, stones and firearms. They beat 'Aziz 'Amur (63) and his sons Ahmad (16) and Qusai (17), causing severe head injuries and a broken arm, then stoned other homes. Security cameras in the Al-Amur home filmed the attack, and AP obtained the footage. B'Tselem says soldiers at a nearby post watched without stepping in, then raided the community, threw stun grenades and arrested residents. Police said they detained 22 Palestinians.
