Settler mob torches homes and cars in Jit; one Palestinian killed

On the night of 15 August 2024, dozens of masked settlers raided Jit, throwing stones and Molotov cocktails and torching at least four homes and six vehicles. A 23-year-old Palestinian was shot dead and another critically wounded. Police announced the arrest of four suspects (three adults and a minor) on 22 August.
