On 15 November 2023, four settlers on a tractor plowed about 200 dunams of land belonging to Nuh Kharub, 54. When he blocked the tractor, a settler fired live rounds at him and missed. Soldiers who arrived ordered the family home and barred them from plowing. Kharub filed a complaint with Kiryat Arba police the same day. On 2 December 2023, soldiers and a teenage settler ordered the family off the pastureland next to their home and threw stones at them. A soldier struck Kharub with his rifle butt and kicked his wife. B'Tselem published video of the incidents.
