Armed settlers entered Burqa east of Ramallah on 4 August 2023; 19-year-old Qusai Jamal Maatan was shot dead and four Palestinians were injured, and a vehicle was burned. Police named settlers Elisha Yered and Yehiel Indore as the main suspects in the killing.
