On 4 June 2023 settlers, reportedly from the Homesh outpost, attacked Burqa north-west of Nablus, damaging at least three houses, three vehicles, a barracks and a livelihood structure. OCHA counted 145 Palestinians injured in the attack and the confrontations that followed when Israeli forces intervened: four by live ammunition, three by rubber bullets and 137 treated for tear gas inhalation.
