On 30 May 2023 armed settlers, reportedly from the Ahiya outpost, opened fire and threw stones in Jalud, south-east of Nablus, injuring seven Palestinians with stones. They vandalised seven houses and two vehicles and tried to set a home on fire. The settlers were accompanied by Israeli forces, who fired rubber bullets and tear gas and injured five more Palestinians.
