On 26 May 2023 about 50 armed settlers, reportedly from the Adei Ad outpost, opened fire, threw stones and assaulted Palestinians working their land between al-Mughayyir and Turmus Ayya, east of Ramallah. Six Palestinians were injured, two of them by live ammunition (one in the head). Five Palestinian-owned vehicles were set on fire, four more were damaged by stones, and crops and livestock fodder were burned.
