Purim axe attack in Huwara ends in terror indictment and prison terms

On 6 March 2023, during Purim, masked settlers attacked Palestinians and cars in Huwara with an axe and stones. A Palestinian father was wounded in the shoulder, arm and head. Two settlers arrested on 13 March were indicted in the Central District Court on 30 March 2023 for a terror act and racially motivated damage. A June 2024 report says they were later sentenced to 3.5 and 3 years in prison.
