On 12 September 2022 about five armed settlers from the Havat Ma'on outpost attacked Hafez Huraini, 52, and his son on their land near at-Tuwani. Huraini's arms were broken with a metal pipe; settlers reportedly slashed the ambulance's tyres. A settler struck by Huraini's shovel suffered a skull fracture. Soldiers blocked the ambulance and arrested Huraini, who was charged at Ofer military court (attempted murder reduced to grievous bodily harm) and released on bail; no settler was arrested.
