Settlers from Asfar smash head of 75-year-old with stones outside his home in al-Qanub

At about 16:00 on 8 February 2022 a group of about ten young settlers from Asfar, carrying axes and sticks, attacked Muhammad Abd al-Fattah al-Shalaldeh, 75, as he sat with his grandchildren near his home in al-Qanub, east of Sa'ir, beating him and smashing his head with stones; about 20 more settlers then joined. He suffered fractures and facial bleeding and underwent surgery at al-Ahli hospital in Hebron, the Land Research Center reported.
